Click here to listen to this ancient healing mantra, dating back to the Rig Vedas 1100-1700 bc, is said to open one up to the healing energy of Shiva. You can simply listen to it, or chant along with it, or play a recording of it (set to repeat) near a container of water from which you can drink a bit each day.    This is called “Mantra Water”.   You can chant this 108 times which will take you about a half hour or before you have to go out into the world for groceries.   Simply be open to it’s healing energy.  It is said to be the 2nd most used mantra in India.   Here’s to your health and the health of all beings!Save

Perhaps you’ve noticed how interactions with other human beings have been altered during the course of this pandemic.   I have been both delightfully surprised by the kindness of strangers as I walk along a nature trail or grocery store aisles and observe how we thoughtfully negotiate a safe passage when crossing paths.  I have also observed unexpected rude and disturbing public outbursts that seemed so unnecessary.   Had I not steeped myself in regular mindful practices, I might have joined the fray and it would have been sixth grade dodge ball all over again.  I don’t know about you, but that never ended well for me.
